Enter into the world of make-believe, a place where toys learn to be good toys at Toy Camp. Ted E. Bear, Princess Ann, Glow Toy, and others have come to Toy Camp to hopefully graduate and earn their price tags to be sold at toy stores. Not graduating from Toy Camp means certain doom at the Toy Dump! During their week at camp, our friends learn lessons in paying attention and practicing, overcoming their fears and weaknesses. With a subtle moral about liking yourself and having confidence if you want to be loved by others, each toy realizes it is good at something.

“Possibly the funniest show I’ve ever directed, and that’s saying a lot” – Chad Hembree
Appropriate for all ages.
I suggest 9 years old and up to get the jokes. – Mr. Chad
“I’ve had trouble breaking into a house before but this is the first time I’ve had problems breaking OUT again!” So moans Merle to his partner, Howie. These two minor-league burglars have really met their match this time, it seems. They decided on a house only to find, after managing to get into the place, that it was up for sale and before they can leave, Conrad and Glenda, prospective buyers, show up. Merle figures they have two choices – either pretend to be real estate agents or beat it, making the buyers suspect them and call in the police. Merle begins to show the house while Howie ducks out to get the car. Now the REAL real estate agent shows up and Merle has to juggle the couple and the agent. Finally, as Merle gets rid of her and is about to show the door to Conrad and Glenda, Howie arrives with the news that their car has been towed away. Suddenly a cop shows up, saying the police are looking for two suspicious characters in the neighborhood. Next in the parade of oddball characters is Conrad’s secretary, then Glenda’s mother, then her medium, Madame Zenobia. This screwball comedy is one wisecrack after another and proves once again that “You Can’t Beat the House.”

Appropriate for all ages.
“It’s time to let your hair down, have a little fun,” chimes the company in the opening number of this fresh, vivacious musical adaptation of a popular tale. Rene Shwartzbuckle sings to her husband, Walt, about her zany obsession with a turnip-like vegetable called ’rapunzel.’ After spotting a delectable patch of the plant in Witch Izwitch’s garden, Rene sends Walt to ’borrow’ some. The irritated witch has her malicious henchmen, the Glumpwarts, terrorize Walt. In fear, he promises to give his firstborn child to the witch in exchange for his own freedom.
It’s our heroine’s 18th birthday, and Witch Izwitch follows through with her promise and places poor Rapunzel alone in a tower. From here, an exuberant, amusing rescue attempt begins! Can Prince Llewellyn persevere over the powers of evil? Will the fresh, hysterical characters be able to help? And can Rapunzel convince the witch that it’s okay to be unique? Filled with an abundant supply of delightful songs like ’Just Because You’re Different,’ ’I’m a Nut’ and, of course, ’Let Your Hair Down,’ this show is zestful entertainment!
