In this program, college and community members are invited to explore the more than 500 historic and regional cookbooks that are in the Berea College Special Collections and Archives. This year the public is encouraged to search the cookbook collection for spoonbread recipes and stories. How many will we find? Those wishing to share their own personal spoonbread recipes and stories are also welcome to do so. Not into spoonbread? That’s OK. Come look for other favorite recipes or a cookbook from your hometown. Please pre-register at https://bctrace.com/explore/ a minimum of 3 hours in advance.
Groups that would like to peruse the cookbooks on other days may contact Tim Binkley directly through the contact information below or at binkleyt@berea.edu or 859-985-3267.
