Join us for a discussion with Professor Jasmine Syedullah from Vassar College’s Africana Studies program. Professor Syedullah will draw on black feminist practices to extend ideas of freedom beyond binaries of resistance and reticence, to consider what nonbinary imaginations of freedom were born of those who chose to inhabit the hold of slavery otherwise.
