Join us for our theater department’s first-ever Live Streaming performance of Dael Orlandersmith’s Until the Flood on October 8th, 9th, and 10th.
Following the 2014 shooting of Michael Brown, a young unarmed black man, by Darren Wilson, a young white police officer, in Ferguson, Missouri, the playwright interviewed community members in and around Ferguson and St. Louis who were affected by this tragedy and the protests that followed. This heartbreaking and ultimately hopeful play is the result of these interviews and reflects a community seeking understanding and racial justice.
